Background Checks

What background checks will be performed?

Criminal Background Check

We use a national background investigation bureau to investigate any past criminal behavior and pending investigations, including driving under the influence (DUI). This search is completed using your Name, date of birth, and Social Security number.

Credit Background Check

We conduct an employee credit check on all individuals applying for a position with Crown. This background check will NOT affect your credit rating because it is for employment purposes only.

DMV Report

The DMV Report will provide the status of your driver's license, any speeding violations, suspensions, and moving violations.

Drug Screening

Crown Automotive is a drug free working environment. Therefore, we do require that applicants take a drug test that will screen for any illegal substances. You may be asked to provide a prescription for other drugs found on this screening.
